A Denver-area Realtor group is joining forces with a real estate startup to offer its members a free Web-based marketing service.
The South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA) has signed an exclusive agreement to launch the service with BreakthroughBroker.com, a free online resource center where real estate professionals can create customized marketing materials, learn from industry leaders through interviews and news, and collaborate through blog posts and local events.
This month, we sit down with Eric Sachs and Nathan Froelich, co-founders of Break Through Broker. With a truly unique approach to their product and service offerings, Break Through Broker burst onto the real estate radar in the last year. For those brokers and sales professionals out there struggling to find simple tools to not only complete their routine tasks but also communicate effectively to the consumer this is the website for you.
Founded by Colorado Realtors, Nathan Froelich and Eric Sachs, Breakthrough Broker has launched as a comprehensive online resource center for fellow real estate professionals, seeking to solve any problems real estate professionals may face in their careers.
Site visitors can use professionally-designed templates to create customize marketing materials, and the community offers guidebooks filled with best practices, as well as video interviews with industry leaders, with an emphasis on agents collaborating with fellow agents.

Local real estate brokers Eric Sachs and Nathan Froelich have launched a website, BreakthroughBroker.com, aimed at providing other real estate agents with accurate and relevant information, free of charge.
The two brokers wanted to make the information available on subscription-only real estate data sites open to everyone. The nationwide site recognizes a visitor's location and offers content relevant to that area. Users can also enter another ZIP code to search for information relating to a different market.
Essentially this website started by two former real estate agents, turned broker owners, turned successful broker owners (later managers) provides a variety of tools that YOU need…and they do it for FREE! (The BEST pricing in my book).
The site is divided into four main sections: CREATE, SUCCEED, LEARN and SHARE.
The CREATE portion is what first caught my eye as it is here where you can create really fabulous print marketing materials such as post cards, property brochures, personal brochures, business cards, letterhead, newsletter templates and more. They even provide you with real estate letters that you can use to communicate with prospects, clients and other agents. The final piece is the icing on the cake, and that is a smashing PowerPoint presentation that you can modify with your information and logo and that you can download to use on your PC, Mac or iPad! That is all pretty sweet in my book!
Fort Collins-based real estate professional services website BreakthroughBroker.com will be among the 12 tech startups featured in Start-Up Alley at the 2012 Real Estate Connect event held Aug. 1-3 in San Francisco.
The site, founded by Eric Sachs and Nathan Froelich, will be featured in a forum in which companies including Zillow, Cartavi and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate were previously featured. Since its launch in February, BreakthroughBroker.com has received more than 60,000 page views from agents in 81 countries, according to a company release.
“We couldn’t be more excited,” Sachs said in a written release. “For such a young company to take a national stage and have the opportunity to meet and discuss the real estate business with some of the brightest and most influential minds in the industry will be incredible.”
After surviving one of the more difficult real estate climates in decades, Fort Collins real estate agents Eric Sachs and Nathan Froelich have launched a website aimed at helping fellow professionals make it through tough times.
BreakthroughBroker.com, launched in February, contains information about local markets, as well as markets in other parts of the country. The site was borne of a desire to provide brokers with all the resources they need to effectively sell homes in one place, for free.
The same sort of market-level information is available from a variety of sources, but, as Sachs points out, brokers must typically visit a multitude of sites to find it. Moreover, they’re typically “nickel and dimed” paying for access to different sites, he said..
