First, Instagram has 5 different types of formats -- which can feel overwhelming and cumbersome. However, we suggest using the top 3 video formats which are stories, reels, and IGTV.
Thanks to Chelsea, she guided us through Reels in an hour! This is a rather lengthy process, so we've taken out the most important details to help you through setting up your first Reel.
Reels are considered “micro-content”
There are differences between an IG story and a Reel. Stories are intended to be “real-time, behind the scenes” content. These are 2-way conversations. Similar to your very own reality show.
Reels has numerous editing features
More entertaining and brand awareness. Basically like throwing out the net to see who latched on, to gain more reach. Reels can be posted to multiple areas.
